I didn’t know there was designated UFO day of celebration until today when a co-worker showed me the photo she’d created: A lovely nature scene with a disc-shaped UFO high in the sky. Very clever indeed! She enthusiastically said this would become her Facebook page banner.
For me, the UFO phenomenon has created a permanent banner across my mind and soul, particularly after my experience around age 11.

For the general public, UFO’s are a great way to sell eclectic t-shirts, bumper stickers and ware, an excuse to point lasers at the night sky in hopes of getting a flashy response from an unknown source, and show off amazing cosplay outfits and paranormal stories at group events. But, as stated in my blog, the encounter my sister, two friends and I had was a far cry from cute alien decals and toys. It was, in fact, a very consciousness-shifting experience.
While the three of them allowed that night’s memory to fade into the background over the years, it has remained emblazened into my psyche. I cannot not look at the night sky, and ponder why …. WHY has it taken soooo long for disclosure? Why have so many lives been destroyed simply for telling the truth of what they encountered? Where was the clean, advanced technology that people downloaded, or were given privy to by these non-human intelligences? And what was the point of all the encounters if it all fell on deaf ears?
Clearly we were not ready, not evolved enough to handle the truth … that must be the reason, or so I imagined.
Then, a little birdie told me about F.R.E.E, the Foundation for Research into Extraterrestrial and Extraordinary Experiences, and the massive survey they were in the midst of compiling with results from over 4500 experiencer participants.
The survey itself was no small undertaking. If I’m remembering correctly, it had over 600 in-depth questions, created by FREE’s astounding group of PhD academic researchers, and masterfully carried out by the Not-for-Profit’s team of psychologists, counselors, hypnotherapists, and volunteers. FREE was co-founded by Dr. Edgar Mitchell, Apollo 14 astronaut, who was also the founder of the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS). He generously donated his namesake to FREE’s project before his passing in 2016.

I came on board with FREE towards its tail-end, when they were seeking more volunteers to help organize the fine details. Hosting webinars alongside experiencer and FREE’s co-founder, Rey Hernandez, JD, MCP, and calling each hypnotherapist/ counselor directly to determine who was available for assisting experiencers needing immediate help were some of my duties.
We tried diligently to build a reliable, emergency network, volunteer-staffed, 24 hours a day to take calls from highly panicked folks across the nation who were struggling to put a UFO sighting and or close-encounter experience into context with their daily reality. Such an event(s) can shatter a person’s psyche, and sadly there are few in the professional fields who will step up to help. Instead, they laugh the experiencer out of the room, insist they go on meds or worse, put them into a mental health facility.
I remember one client of mine who confided she had been attending support group meetings for women who’d been sexually assaulted. One evening a young man showed up, apologizing for his gender, but seeking help. He claimed he’d been repeatedly, physically violated by non-humans, and said he had numerous night time sightings. He was on the brink of losing what little sanity he had and desperately sought advice. No medical or psychological personelle would take him seriously, and he desperately wanted his life back. Upon hearing this my client said the room fell dead silent. Everyone felt for him, but no one knew what to say; it was so completely out of their ballpark.
About a month later she reported that he had, indeed, committed suicide according to her group’s coordinator. This was a huge impetus for me to really connect with FREE’s counselors and learn how we can better assist. I wish I could say we figured out a coherent, reliable system of support, but the few volunteers we had on staff were exhausted from handling calls at all hours of night and day, trying to stabilize panicked caller’s high emotions and shooken mental states. There was no where to send these people within their own city or state where they could be properly supported and cared for till they stabilized. Ultimately, we simply couldn’t find enough people to establish a solid, 24/7 hotline.
On the bright side, I was able to volunteer my time and support to an amazingly intelligent, dedicated, objective community of people from every walk of life during my time with FREE. The end result of all their research is a book, Beyond UFOS | The Science of Consciousness and Contact with Non Human Intelligence “Volume I”. It’s a tome with no less than 784 pages of in-depth research data, covering everything imaginable, from physics, local and non-local consciousness, quantum holograms, communication with non-human intelligences, the new human, psychological transformation of the experiencer after contact, ecological and human behavioral messages received from non-humans, spiritual transformation, the history of UAP’s, and much more.
We live in a time when everything is a quick sound byte, click bait, numbers-driven media and most of the stuff I see addressing the issue of UFOs, UAPs, non-human intelligences, etc is just a hot mess of attention grabbing nonsense. This blog was created to give credence to all the good souls who’ve encountered the strange, mysterious and life-changing world of UFO’s, non-humans, spirits, and to honor the ontological experience of human encounters with the non-human realm.
As a closing, I wish to give hearty thanks to Dr. Rudy Schild, Phd for the thoughtful gesture of including all the FREE volunteers in his FOREWARD of the book. What an honor!
