Ancient Rhymes. Audio to help you relax.

Sometimes it’s hard to sleep, or even rest the brain for a little catnap. I always enjoyed being read to as a kid so I thought why not read to each other as adults? Our minds are so caught up in the whirlwind of the day’s thoughts, maybe this would help folks kick back with a cozy blanket, a little cocoa and, before long, a sound sleep with pleasant dreams.

Please enjoy my reading of Ancient Rhymes, A Dolphin Lullaby, a beautiful book by John Denver, adapted and illustrated by Christopher Canyon.

A sincere and most gracious “thanks” to the friendly dolphin who allowed me a photo of his lovely face during a trip to Mexico.

  1. Beautiful Regina! So funny when we were cleaning up BJ old apt I came across Ancient Rhymes book by John Denver it was among all the clutter in a box and it triggered memorable moments when I bought many of that book and John Denver’s other books when New Renaissance Bookstore had this awesome big sale many years ago I bought them and gave them away to friends and told them they will enjoy the beautiful lyrics and music of John Denver and his humongous love of Nature and animals and especially of dolphins. Thank you for sharing your beautiful post of memories Regina especially the Xmas 2016 you made brought tears to my eyes of the beautiful memories we’ve all shared and animos too💖. Love your singing and videos so much. Now I am so chillaxing and cozying warm as a toast in my bed soon and will sneak a little bit of my fave thing to do… crocheting lol💖Goodnight and sweet happy dreams 🌖💫⭐️❤️

  2. In this audio my voice is blended into the ocean waves so you can focus more on the relaxing sounds of the water. As with most ocean recordings it sounds best thru headphones or earbuds. I highly recommend the book, Ancient Rhymes, A Dolphin Lullaby – the artwork is beautiful. 🙂
